AHS convened the Global Budget Subgroup in October and November 2022 to obtain input on hospital global budget design. The state shared input from the Subgroup with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) as CMS was designing a federal health care reform model that includes hospital global budgets.
